All those songs were superhits and are heard even today. But Subramaniam later stopped singing for Salman. After 1995, Salman started giving opportunities to different singers in his films.

Years later, while talking about this, Salman said, ‘At that time, Subramaniam sir’s voice used to suit me. There used to be magic in his voice. How did SP Balasubramaniam’s career start?
SP Balasubramaniam was born on 4 June 1946 in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. Subramaniam studied engineering from Nellore and won a singing contest in Chennai in 1963. The first time Bass Subramaniam sang a song for MGR’s film was in 1969. In 1989, he sang for the film Maine Pyar Kiya and after that sang many Hindi songs. SP Balasubramaniam died on 25 September 2020 due to corona in Chennai.
